In addition to reworked graphics, Feral Interactive is also adding a fully customizable interface so players can optimize their experience. If touchscreens aren’t your thing – and you’d rather not play games Alien: Isolation on another platform – gamepads are fully supported. Better yet, all seven DLC packages are included in the mobile version.
“Alien: Isolation para mobile offers an action adventure in a damaged labyrinthine space station light years from Earth,” said Feral Interactive. “The stunning AAA visuals, captivating narrative and terrifying atmosphere of Creative Assembly’s award-winning science fiction masterpiece have been faithfully replicated to phones and tablets. This is the complete survival horror experience brought to mobile without compromise.”
Alien: Isolation garnered positive reviews in 2014, with most critics praising the game’s intelligent artificial intelligence and suspense-creating ability. It will be interesting to see how much of this remains intact during gameplay on smartphones or tablets – but early screenshots show the team started well.
Alien: Isolation will be available on December 16 for $14.99 on iOS and on Android.
